Traditional Chinese Medicine has a long history of herbal medicine which can be used as a powerful tool for a variety of health concerns and conditions. At Cactus, we develop individualized formulas for patients to treat their concerns holistically and modify them according to the patient’s presentation and constitution. Herbal medicine appointments can be scheduled concurrently with acupuncture or separately.

Expect
Herbal Medicine Consult without Acupuncture – 30 minutes
Herbal medicine only appointments consist of 20-30 minutes of full health history and physical exam when appropriate. All herbal prescriptions are billed separately from your appointment and are not covered by insurance. Herbal medicine consults may also occur as a part of an acupuncture visit when appropriate.
We source our herbs from a company based in California with strict quality standards. Herbal products are produced without the use of pesticides, fungicides, sulfites, or fumigation. Organic and ethically harvested herbs are chosen whenever appropriate. Kosher granular herbs are also available upon request.
